Pastoral Theology

The Pastoral Theology Study Program integrates theology and pastoral care, preparing students to competently serve and lead communities of faith. This multidisciplinary field combines theological knowledge, pastoral skills, and the spiritual formation required to effectively address the emotional, spiritual, and moral needs of individuals and groups. Through rigorous study, reflection, and real-world application, students are primed to make a lasting impact in their congregations and beyond.


Program Objectives:

  • Equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the theological foundations of ministry.

  • Develop practical pastoral skills for effective ministry including counseling, spiritual guidance, and community leadership.

  • Foster a deep, personal spiritual formation and cultivate a profound sense of vocational calling.

  • Enhance communication skills to deliver impactful sermons, teachings, and pastoral guidance.

  • Enable students to critically reflect on contemporary challenges in ministry and provide biblically-informed solutions.
