Practical Ministry

The Practical Ministry Study Program, with its emphasis on church planting, equips aspiring church leaders with the tools, knowledge, and hands-on experience necessary to effectively establish and grow faith communities within local contexts. This holistic program combines scriptural grounding, pastoral skills, and practical strategies to catalyze the birth and development of new church congregations.

Program Objectives:

  • Deepen understanding of the theological and Biblical foundations for church planting.

  • Equip students with practical strategies for community engagement, outreach, and growth.

  • Foster skills in pastoral care, leadership, and church administration tailored to new congregations.

  • Cultivate a deep sense of spiritual formation and discernment for church planting vocations.

  • Enhance adaptability to address contemporary challenges faced by emerging churches.

Fieldwork Experience:

Central to the program is a substantial fieldwork component where students partner with local churches and experienced church planters. This immersion provides invaluable on-the-ground experience, allowing students to  apply theoretical knowledge, gain mentorship, and directly participate in church planting initiatives in practical ways.
